Hello My name is Cyndi and I am looking for close Christian friends! It would be a blessing to have your friendship! I am 38 yrs old and live in Pittsburgh, PA with my wonderful husband Jim of 8 yrs. I have been a born again Christian for 11yrs now and love the Lord very much! I have been through a lot of adversities and surgeries and I have chronic pain which enables me from working a full time job . I got a degree in social work. Even though I cannot work full time due to pain I am still pursuing certification in Christian counseling and will be taking classes online in the future first of all for the knowledge to get closer to God and also to be better able to help hurting people that I may come across in life because it just breaks my heart that so many people are hurting. Also I would like to get a degree in Christian counseling to help me reach out to others who are hurting in church and volunteer work. I am a little shy at first but once you get to know me you will see that I am very easy going and upbeat and will make a good friend you can trust. I know trust is so very important. In time after we get to know each other well I would love to possibly talk on the phone and visit ( that is later down the road after you get to know me of course- we love to travel) Even though I have been through a lot physically and have depression I try to stay upbeat and positive Unfortunately due to having cancer at 2 yrs of age, I am unable to have children because I had to have a hysterectomy due to the cancer but I survived the cancer. Due to my pain it would be very difficult for me to physically keep up with a baby and this breaks my heart because I love children very much. My husband is very loving and understanding and says that he would be sincerely happy with or without a child and is very grateful that I made it through the cancer alive. My husband and I are thinking about maybe adopting an older child to love in the future. I sponser 2 young children from Africa through Compassion International which is indeed a great blessing.
